The Dance with a Red Tulip is a dance with your own loneliness. Being lonely or even just the thought of being alone for the rest of our lives, is one of our biggest fears.

We picture Loneliness as a scary and empty place that is within us. A place that we are too scared to get to know. But what if I tell you, your own loneliness is the most beautiful thing in the world.

After having gone through depression and being angry with life for 9 months, accusing it of being unfair to me, that’s when I realized that the power was within me all this time. Now I see my courage and my strength to say no to what I don’t want in my life. But not only that, I needed to learn how to be friends with my own loneliness. In the end, I’m never alone. Because wherever I go, my loneliness comes with me. I am her and she is me. And she hides the most beautiful parts of myself.

Fall in love with yourself, and with life. And that means to dive into your own loneliness and make peace with it. Because it is only then, when we can then fall in love with whoever we want.
